"Amid the mountain greenery, nature paints a splendid scenery"

What You Should Know During Your Stay

The premises and facilities are for the use and enjoyment of our registered guests only.  We value our guests and will strive to ensure their comfort, safety and privacy.

Visitors are not allowed as they are an unwelcome intrusion.  Failure to abide by our “No Visitors” policy will result in trespassing charges being laid against the person(s) as well as your being told to vacate the property immediately with no refund of monies paid for your stay.  NO EXCEPTIONS.

We do not allow more than the posted occupancy in the cabins, or additional persons to stay on the property in tents, trailers, vehicles, etc.  We do not permit the storage of vehicles, trailers, equipment or property of unregistered guests.

Check-out time is no later than 11:00 AM.  Failure to vacate your cabin at the posted check-out time will result in an additional charge of no less than $25.00 for every 15 minutes you are late vacating the cabin up to the amount of another night’s stay.  This does not mean you get to stay for another night.

Late check-out charges commence at 11:01 a.m.
Children are to be supervised at all times.  Please keep in mind there are some areas of the property that are not for guests’ use such as the yard and patio around the main house and across from the llama paddocks and the play structure which belongs to the owner’s grand-daughter.

Every effort is made to insure our guests have clean well-equipped accommodations on arrival.  Please notify the office if anything is in need of repair or replacement.  Guests are responsible for their own housekeeping during their stay.  We do not provide daily maid service, but guests are welcome to ask for fresh linens, towels, garbage bags, toilet paper, propane, wood, kindling, etc.  when required.  If on check-out, dishes are not thoroughly and properly cleaned, dried and put away, there will be a minimum charge of no less than $25.00; and, if extensive cleaning is required to prepare for the next guest, there will be another minimum charge of no less than $80.00.

Note:  Each cabin has its own equipment inventory.  If items are moved to other cabins or taken off the property and not returned, there will be a minimum $25.00 restocking charge.

We will gladly collect any garbage you may have.  Simply leave it on the deck of your cabin and/or inform the office.

Do not leave food garbage outside overnight as it could attract unwanted scavengers, bears or other wildlife onto the property.

We understand that accidents happen, and we have the means to clean and remove most stains if we are notified immediately.  But we do not have a magic formula to remove grease and other exotic oils from our linens.  To those who are not careful in their use, the extra-cleaning charge of no less than $80.00 will be applied but can exceed this amount depending on how much extra washing is required.

A noise by-law is in effect between the hours of 11:00 PM and 7:00 AM.  Please respect it.

The communal fire pit and the firewood provided is for the use and enjoyment of our guests.  However, fires are not to be left unattended or to be so large as to signal the space stations.  This will be considered excessive and you will be charged if you burn the entire firewood stockpile as this is the equivalent of two weeks worth of wood and would normally cost people in excess of $150.00 if they had to purchase it.

There will be a $20.00 charge for lost, stolen or missing cabin keys.

Any evidence of illegal substances will be reported to the proper authorities and you will be told to vacate the premises immediately without refund of monies paid for your stay.

We accept and welcome dogs only (max. 2), provided we have the cooperation of their owners.
a.) Pets must be kept under strict control at all times and never left unattended in the cabins.
b.) Please bring your pet’s bedding or travel cage.
c.) Please bring your pet’s food and water dishes.
d.) Pets are absolutely not to be allowed on the bed or furniture at any time.
e.) During wet weather, please wipe your animal’s feet before bringing it inside the cabin.  (We can provide rags for this purpose, if required, so please do not use the towels that are provided for guest’s use in the cabins.
f.) Pets are only permitted in the cabin the owner is registered in.
g.) Owners are required to pick up their dog’s droppings in the yard and main hiking trails.
h.) Owners are responsible and will be charged for any damages or excessive cleaning caused by their pets.

We have a friendly, old German Sheppard/Golden Lab cross named Willow who has a baby brother to look after named, Rocky, who is a Pembrooke Welsh Corgi and was born in January of 2007. There is also an old Shih Tzu/Pug cross named Rosco who is half blind, almost totally deaf, has a heart problem and is missing his bottom front teeth (we may rename him Lucky) but still manages to hear a BBQ lid open at any of the cabins and plays like he’s still a puppy. Rosco has a little brother named, Max, who is a Pug/Silkie Terrier cross and was born in August of 2006.  Max is extremely sweet and affectionate, loves kids and other dogs but has the IQ and attention span of a fly.  Rosco and Max do not live on the property but they are here almost every day while their mom is working at the cabins.
Please keep in mind that, being dogs, they always think they are starving and Willow learned years ago to knock on doors for the express purpose of letting people in the cabins know she wanted a treat. She has chosen to try and teach this nifty trick to the puppies but so far they are too short to reach and she does it for them. If it would be an intrusion to have 3 little dogs and one big one at your door, just don't feed them anything and they will move on to the next cabin. All we ask is that you don't feed them junk food or anything containing pork or ham as this makes them sick or feed Rosco anything salty as he is on a special diet. Rosco does love fruits and veggies though (his favourite are baby carrots) and his mom doesn't mind if you feed him stuff like that.
Willow used to be eager to go for walks with the guests but as she has gotten older and torn the cartilage in her right knee, she is much more selective about when she wants to go so please don't take it personally if she would rather stay home and sleep on the deck. Also, please don't play Frisbee with or around Willow as you will never get it back. For some reason she likes to chew them into itty, bitty pieces and several guests have lost their Frisbees to her.
