"Amid the mountain greenery, nature paints a splendid scenery" Our Policies and What You Should Know During Your StayThe premises and facilities are for the use and enjoyment of our registered guests only. We value our guests and will strive to ensure their comfort, safety and privacy. A strict "No Visitors" policy is in effect at ALL times. Any extra occupants in the cabin during your stay will be billed at the rate of $35.00 per person per number of nights you have booked for, regardless of their length of stay. For instance, if you have booked for 3 nights for 2 people but invite 2 people for just one night or a few hours, your extra person bill will be $210.00 plus taxes. NO EXCEPTIONS. There are no refunds for early departures or for members of your party that fail to arrive if we have not received at least 48 hours notice that the number in your party has decreased. We also must receive advance notice if you require the fold down couch made up for members of your party. We do not allow more than the posted occupancy in the cabins, or additional persons to stay on the property in tents, trailers, vehicles, etc. We do not permit the storage of vehicles, trailers, equipment or property of unregistered guests, early arrivals or guests who have checked out. Cheechako Cabins is a self-catering, self-housekeeping establishment. Guests are required to perfectly wash and dry all kitchen items that are used and/or dirtied during their stay and to clean up after themselves in the cabin. A vacuum and cleaning supplies are provided for this. Any dishes or kitchen items that have to rewashed for any reason will result in an additional charge of NO LESS than $50.00 applied to your credit card, but can and will exceed this amount if extensive rewashing is required. Note: Each cabin has its own equipment inventory. If items are moved to other cabins or taken off the property and not returned, there will be a minimum $50.00 restocking charge. Every effort is made to insure our guests have clean well-equipped accommodations on arrival. Please notify the office if anything is in need of repair or replacement, during your stay. Guests are responsible for their own housekeeping during their stay. We do not provide daily maid service. Guests are welcome to ask for fresh linens, towels, garbage bags, toilet paper, propane, wood, kindling, etc. when required. If on check-out extensive cleaning is required to prepare for the next guest, there will be another minimum charge of NO LESS than $100.00. Children are to be supervised at all times. Please keep in mind there are some areas of the property that are not for guests’ use such as the yard and patio around the main house and across from the llama paddocks and the play structure which belongs to the owner’s grand-daughter. We will gladly collect any garbage you may have. Simply leave it on the deck of your cabin and inform the office. Do not leave food garbage outside overnight as it could attract unwanted scavengers, bears or other wildlife onto the property. We understand that accidents happen, and we have the means to clean and remove most stains if we are notified immediately. But we do not have a magic formula to remove grease and other exotic oils from our linens. To those who are not careful in their use, the extra-cleaning charge of no less than $80.00 will be applied but can exceed this amount depending on how much extra washing is required or if new linens must be purchased to replace items we cannot get clean. A noise by-law is in effect between the hours of 11:00 PM and 7:00 AM. Please respect it. The communal fire pit and the firewood provided is for the use and enjoyment of our guests. However, fires are not to be left unattended or to be so large as to signal the space stations. This will be considered excessive and you will be charged if you burn the entire firewood stockpile as this is the equivalent of two weeks worth of wood and would normally cost people in excess of $150.00 if they had to purchase it. There will be a $20.00 charge for lost, stolen or missing cabin keys. Privacy PolicyThe owners and staff of Cheechako Cabins are dedicated to making every reasonable effort to protect the privacy, confidentiality and security of any personal information entrusted to us. Only authorized persons who have a need to know have access to personal information. We define personal information as “any information, which relates to an individual and allows that individual to be identified.” We take every reasonable precaution to keep personal information secure and confidential. We do not collect, use or disclose personal information about individuals without their express consent except where required by law. Smoking PolicyThe inside of our cabins are strictly non-smoking. An ashtray is provided on the covered deck. Smoking of tobacco or the burning of candles, incense, etc. inside the cabins will result in an additional charge of no less than $200.00 but can exceed this amount depending on the cleaning required to remove smoking odours. Do not litter the property with your smoking items as this could start a fire which will result in an additional charge of $200.00 plus criminal charges being laid against the offending person(s). Any evidence of illegal substances will be reported to the proper authorities and you will be told to vacate the premises immediately without refund of monies paid for your stay. Pet PolicyWe accept and welcome dogs only, provided we have the cooperation of their owners. There is a $20.00 per night per dog pet charge to a maximum of two dogs per cabin.
There is one resident dog at all times named Rocky who is a Pembrooke Welsh Corgi (just like the Queen of England’s dogs!) and his friend, Max, a Pug/Silkie Terrier cross who is here most days that his mom, the housekeeper, is working. Rocky is a bit shy but it does not stop him from visiting guests at their cabins with the specific purpose of trying to beg treats off of people. However, Rocky has a very sensitive tummy and we ask the guests please not feed him or Max, who has a bit of a weight problem. Max is neutered, but Rocky is not, so we ask guests to please keep this in mind if you have a un-spayed female that is in, or close to being in, estrus. We cannot be held responsible if she gets pregnant nor can we be held responsible for any vet bills incurred in such an event. Though we might take a puppy.
If you have any questions or concerns about our policies please ask for clarification. |
